Duty Calls

Duty Calls is a playable parody of the game Call of Duty.

The game was developed by Epic Games and is a really funny parody of the Call of Duty series of games. I'm sure fans of Call of Duty will be as amused as anyone else with the content of this game. It is quite a large download (700 mb) which is the only drawback for what is a very short game in playing terms. Duty Calls pokes fun at the theatre of modern warfare and that game genre. It parodies the battlefield and uses cut scenes and narrative from them in a very intelligent and amusing way.

As a player you proceed through the battle zone encountering enemies as you go and aiming your gun using the target sight and then you shoot them and move on. As you kill more enemies your rank increases with some hilarious new ranks with extraordinarily long titles! The new ranks come thick and fast and each one is a guaranteed belly laugh! You can pick up extra weapons as you move long and even this process includes some hilarious pieces, I won't reveal them here.

Some say Call of Duty fans will be offended but I think they will laugh just as hard as anyone else at this definitely one for the collection game. It is quite a large download but well worth it for this rare satirical game, and not so large when you consider the average size of hard drives today. The game concludes with a preview of another Epic Game, Bulletstorm. I strongly recommend you download this game, it's unique and something to amuse yourself and your friends with.
